Gotta share this…we have renters across the street, there for more than a year. We’ve waved, left a note in the box, etc. Nada. Zilch. Today, one was walking their little dog and stopped my husband who was on the way out…asked if they could put their recycling stuff in our bin…and they like to bring home stuff from the office for recycling (despite driving a large and obnoxious Hummer). Am I missing something or what? Should a neighbor at least establish a surface-level social contact before asking to use someone else’s (paid) garbage pick-up? Just saying…the link has a few common-sense tips on this topic.
